ABBY VAN MUIJEN (she/they)

Born and raised in the East Bay, Abby founded RogueMark Studios shortly after graduating UC-Berkeley. She has a soft spot for birch trees.
ELIZA REISFELD (she/her)
CREATIVE DIRECTOR
Born and raised in Burlingame, CA, Eliza studied illustration at the Rhode Island School of Design. Her cat Bagheera makes her giggle all day long.
MARISA RAFTER (she/her)
LEAD ANIMATOR & GRAPHIC RECORDER
Born and raised in Alameda, CA, Marisa studied geography at UC-Berkeley. If prompted, she can rattle off the history of Spam.
BETHANY KAYLOR (she/her)
WRITER & GRAPHIC RECORDER
A Midwest native, Bethany studied creative writing at the University of Oregon. Her spirit shoe is a Dansko—sturdy and questionably business casual.

A Bay Area native, Julia studied illustration at the Academy of Art University and Animation Collaborative. She has a sweet tooth the size of Canada.

Born in Pasadena, CA, Grace studied sociology and nonprofit management at Grinnell College. She loves dogs and storytelling and baking unruly cakes.

Born and raised in Mumbai, Vrinda studied illustration at the Rhode Island School of Design. Her ideal Sunday afternoon is painting pups in the sunshine.

Our Story
In late 2014, Abby Van Muijen started RogueMark out of her childhood bedroom. Drawing from her prior experience as the lead artist and animator in the UC-Berkeley Global Poverty video series, Abby brought together a small creative team to create multimedia videos for clients like the MIT Community Innovators Lab, the Walmart Foundation, and local documentary filmmakers. Eventually, she moved the company into a studio space in Berkeley, CA.
Today, RogueMark is a full-blown creative studio with a professional, team of artists, animators, visual notetakers, and illustrators (plus a silly dog). We love making complex narratives more accessible—it’s our bread and butter. From social media campaigns to explainer videos to stop-motion advertising, we bring a distinctly human touch to all of our creations. Our goal is always to educate and inspire.
